Stray Giving
At STRAY DOG DESIGNS we, like most of us, want and try to do the right thing. We strive to GIVE BACK....to lend a helping hand to our community and the communities in which we work.
Over the years we have donated money to several great organizations...Wally's Friends in Chattanooga, TN., www.wallysfriends.com , Children's Nutrition Program of Haiti , www.cnphaiti.org , Casita Linda in Mexico , www.casitalinda.org , and Sociedad Protectera de Animales , also in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, www.spasanmiguel.org to name a few. After the disaster in Haiti , we did a matching program with our wonderfully giving clients and were able to give over $12,000 directly to our talented artisans in that ravaged country.
We also donate countless items to local and national charity auctions over the course of a year.
Now here is the tricky part.....to give money we have to make money. As I said before, we are happy to help and we want to help but in order to do so in a meaningful way , we must make a profit. Before we can give out money to others in need we must pay ourselves, pay or employees ,pay our creditors, pay for the product, etc, etc, etc.
So, help us help others. Please. Buy something fabulous, fun or funky for yourself and tell all your friends about our kooky , hand made, one of a kind products and we will be able to take a portion of the profits and give them to somebody ,or some animal , in need.
